The Reactivity reset by The Dog Bond Academy
Hi, I am Tanya the Founder of The Dog Bond Academy and a global behaviour consultant.
I am an ethical, supportive, cheerleader of bond centric behaviour change in dogs.
I naturally gravitate to rescue and reactive dogs as these are the dogs who need the most support. I consider myself a natural emotional healer and I think dogs are the greatest gift to man.
I also find their owners need a good dollop of understanding too and often need to be shown to remain "on track" as we can get overwhelmed and "stuck" in a cycle of feeling we are drowning. This doesn't need to be your forever story. Just take forward steps day by day - however small that may be each day.
It isn't easy living with a dog like this and you're admirable for being here and wanting to change your dog's world in a way that is ethical, kind and sustainable by understanding exactly what it is they are trying to tell you.
I am incredibly supportive of you and your dog. I do not care what breed your dog is, what it looks like, how chaotic your life is, what neurotype you are. I am here to teach everyone and give everyone a fair chance to live alongside their best friend in a harmonious way.
Dogs, humans, we are all wonderfully different and that is the rich tapestry of life. Our mood, lifestyle, home, circumstances - it all affects our dogs lives too. I give strategies for those "down days" if you are burnt out, tired, or just need a reset. Don't beat yourself up. Don't strive for perfection. Just keep consistently going in the right direction and little by little - you will look back on how far you have come.

Proven behaviourist frameworks that build resilience and confidence in your reactive dog.
Reactive dogs are not aggressive - it is fear based behaviour. Unfortunately - the general public do not see it this way. Immediately you are shamed and feel you cannot walk your dog during the day time or in any areas where you might meet another dog. Sound familiar?
We are not judgmental and we advocate for the dog. We are not here to judge how your dog got to that point. Quite often there is not a specific single reason. It doesn't really matter how you got there. Let's get you out of there.
