Where Trust Meets Training
It isn't. Nobody's worked yet with what's actually driving the behaviour. That's what we do.
Between us we've spent thirty years reading people before we ever read a dog. Tanya spent ten years as a police officer before training in canine behaviour, and is currently working toward her Level 6 Ofqual qualification in Clinical Canine Behaviour with the Canine Behaviour College. Matt served twenty years in the police, the latter part in complex crime, before leaving to train alongside her. He came to dogs through Heidi, a Pomeranian cross who taught him more about patience than any course could.
Since then Matt's worked hands-on with rescues from Bosnia, Thailand and Romania, German Shepherds, terriers, Rottweilers, Pomskies, and more Dachshunds than he'll admit to loving as much as he does. Reactivity, separation struggles, dogs that won't settle, dogs that pull, dogs everyone else had given up on. Everything we do is force-free. We don't train the behaviour you see, we work with the emotion underneath it, at your dog's pace, not a programme's.
Confident Puppy Programme
Delivered face to face by Matt, with full portal access included.
New Puppy Blue Print
£25
The behaviourist's guide to raising a well-rounded adult dog, from puppyhood.
30 Day Rescue Dog Roadmap
£27
Every rescue owner asks the same thing in week one: why isn't my dog listening yet? This is why, and what to do instead. Thirty days of decompression before any behaviour work begins, because a dog that's still overwhelmed can't learn.
Reactivity Reset
£47
The walk you've stopped looking forward to.
An honest look at what's actually driving your dog's reactivity, and real tools to start working with it yourself. If you do the work and want more, it's the natural first step toward working with us properly.
Every course uses the same force-free, science-led framework Matt and I have built our whole practice on. From there, how much support sits around it is up to you, and you can mix and match: take a course on its own, or pair one with hands-on training for the fuller picture.
Work with me remotely, as a behaviourist
Send me what's happening. I'll send back a plan.
A behaviourist works differently to a trainer. Where training teaches a dog what to do, behaviour work asks why they're struggling in the first place, and changes that from the inside.
Every plan starts with one proper look at your dog, not a form ticked in five minutes. For most people that's a single one-to-one assessment over Zoom, after which everything moves asynchronous, videos, voice notes, whatever fits your week. You're welcome to send videos of yourself working with your dog if it helps, but you never have to, this isn't an assessment of you as a handler.
If a live call isn't right for you, it doesn't have to be. I'm ADHD and autistic myself, and I know a scheduled video call is the last thing some people need added to their plate. You can send a written assessment form instead. I'll work through it and come back with questions, no camera, no phone call, same level of care, and none of the pressure that comes with being watched.
Work with me remotelyTrain face to face with Matt
Matt, in person, working with you and your dog directly
For owners who want hands-on support, scheduled sessions, someone physically there guiding you and your dog through it together. The most structured option, and the right one if that structure is what helps you commit.
Want the fuller picture? Pair this with any self-paced course above and you've got hands-on training backed by structured learning between sessions.
Train with MattThere's no ongoing membership. Every plan has an end point, because open-ended support lets people drift, and drifting doesn't change behaviour. You'll know exactly what you're working toward and when you'll get there.
